My husbands Aunt Lula has been taking care of the genealogy for his fathers side for years. She is no longer able, so I have been passed the baton. I am also researching my husbands mother side as well. I find moments here and there to try and tackle it. As everyone well knows, it can be very time consuming, so I only can devote so much time. Thankfully, my brothers are tackling our side of the family so I don't need to. I very much enjoy history and hope some day to actually travel and visit some of the headstones and take my own pictures.
I work for a school district so I am fortunate to have summer off. That is when I accomplish the most research.
