I have lived in Eudora all of my 75 years. From my den window I can see the Eudora Baptist Cemetery. My wife, Barbara, and I already have our tombstone there. My grandmother, Jennie Reed Dean, came here in 1880 to live with her aunt and uncle after her mother died. The uncle, Jobe Harral, donated the land for the cemetery. My two grandmothers, parents, sister, brother, and sister-in-law are buried there.
