Bio

I've been hooked on genealogy ever since my aunt published her book on the Crowl family history in 1988. I have researched my mother's family tree (McClellan/Burnip/Wollam/Zellers of Columbiana Co., Ohio) and my paternal grandmother's lineage (Dutton/Henry of Carroll and Jefferson counties, Ohio). Most of my work is contained on my ancestry.com tree "...the threads that began you and me" which depicts the ancestral "threads" of my grandchildren. The title is from a poem written by my paternal grandmother, Eva Dutton Crowl (1904-1967). My training as a scientist (Ph.D. in Molecular Biology) has provided me with a skill set useful for genealogy, especially with database 'mining'
