While working on my family tree, I realized the value of visiting grave sites, taking pictures of headstones, and recording that information. A majority of my family connections lived near Tallahassee, Florida, so I like to spend some of my free time exploring cemeteries where my known ancestors are buried. So far, these include Whiddon Lake Church Cemetery in Wakulla, FL; Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry, FL; Salem Cemetery in Salem, FL; Maypop and Riverside Church Cemeteries in Mayo, FL; Oak Lawn Cemetery in Lake City, FL; Dollar Cemetery (private) in Grady County, Georgia, among others.

After a couple of years doing genealogy research and recording stories for my family, I decided to start Paperclipped Memories, a personal historian business. I help individuals and families capture their stories, memorabilia, photos, artwork, and/or recipes in a wonderful book format that will last for many generations to come.
