My father's family arrived in Lambertville, NJ in the 1848 time period. Patrick and Ann Sillery came from Ireland to escape the famine. On my father's side are the Balderston's, the Hennessey's, the McAuliffe's. My mom was from South Jersey. Her dad was of German descent and the coal fields of eastern PA. Her mom was a Smallwood from Mays Landing, NJ. The Smallwoods came up from MD at or near the end of the Revolutionary War.
I have lived in several states and research these families. Especially since I am now retired!
