I live around Willard, MO. I am blessed with a wonderful husband, 2 wonderful sons, and 2 beautiful grandbabies. I got my passion for researching family history from my grandmother, Betty McQuitty Woods. Growing up, I always enjoyed going to cemeteries looking up names and dates with her. I loved hearing stories about contacts she made to learn more family information. She researched over 40 years. How I often wish she were still here to see today's technology and all the resources available! After her death in 1992, all of her research, letters, books and certificates she received over the years were lost or destroyed so I am starting over. I am blessed that my granddaughter loves to help and is excited about continuing the family history tradition. My family lines I am researching are: Cornog, Fields, Grant, Woods, Cretors, McQuitty, Brown, and Boone. My husband's family is Hall, Shelton, Long, Matthews, Swearengin/Swearingin, Doss, and I know there are others that I am still finding out about.

If there is a memorial for your family member that I manage that you would like me to transfer to you, please contact me and provide your connection to the person and your contributor id number (without your id #, I can't make the transfer). I will be happy to make the transfer (unless they are my family). Please feel free to use any photos I have contributed in your family records or for non-profit use. It would also be great if you would give credit to Find A Grave because without them, we could not do what we do. I take exception to those contributors that hold a copyright to headstone photos. We are here to help each other and provide information to build our family trees.

I also serve as President/Trustee on the Rose Hill Cemetery Board (Willard, Greene, MO) and Secretary/Trustee on Hickory Grove Cemetery Board (Polk Co, MO). I enjoy researching for others, as well. My dream job is to be a genealogical researcher and I would love to travel to learn about where my ancestors came from and learn about their lives, but until that dream is achieved, I am an Independent Insurance Agent.
