Probably the very first "Nerd" within the Balmain/Hightower family line.

Birth day is 12/20 so I'll be 53 soon. ..sigh..

Who am I and what have I done with my life... All fifty three years of it???

I am Married.(only once) At 9/9/1999 in Las Vegas.
If you were a fan of the HBO series The Sopranos? Last season Tony goes to "Vegas"... Then drives up to Red Rock Canyon (very near the city) and takes a "button" of Peyote for a mystical vision or ???

That is the exact spot where Roberta and I got Married.. Looking out nearly 280+ degrees across the valley. It was a magical day.. and we quickly flew to Orlando Florida to Visit Epcot and take the Micky Mouse Cruse. In fact at Epcot "Chip n Dale" made our wedding official by marrying us all over again in their "eatery"..

Hurricane Floyd! Made the Mouse boat miss "Castaway Key" which was terrible to miss.

A few days in the park.. then 6 days on the Mouse boat... Walking down the gangplank.. I began turning colors. Green, yellow, white, etc. The event was over.. then it was time for me to become incredibly SICK! It was the PRESSURE of having to plan every single bit of the wedding myself as Roberta had "solo" important work to do on her own. (yep nobody else around was able to do her job) - Thus the idea of the cruise boat so the work bastards could not get a hold of her! LOL. (Honeymoon was pretty much a disaster anyway)

The NEXT year rolled around we did the same "Honeymoon" Disney Trip as before. But this time no pressure, I didn't get sick, --- We both had the time of our lives! Some of the best set of Memories I ever had.

Insert Medical Problems here: OWWWWW. $$$$$$$ Pain Drugs? Now you are a Federal Criminal! Keep an eye on him DEA! ( DEA, Clark County Law Enforcement! Crazy laws for people who would rather die than play legal games)

Lots of idiot doctors here in Vegas.. and none of them were able to diagnose AS. (Ankylosing Spondylitis) Thanks Dad or Mom? It's a genetic disease. No cure and is incredibly painful. Painful enough to wish for Death many times.. Started around 2002 and I'm still fighting it.

I'm so very DONE with Las Vegas. The whole place is like a black swirling valley of hot smelly Tar that bubbled up out of hell or something worse! Making most people mean,selfish, greedy, etc.. The schools (including College UNLV and Community college - The only exception is Community College Chef programs. That is the real deal) Are crap. The "Hotel" degree from UNLV is a total joke to anybody that is in the No Gaming - Classy Hotel business.

Of all the ladies I loved from my age 17 - 36. Roberta was the only woman who I loved enough to conceive a child with. Unfortunately that didn't happen. (To late for Roberta) By the time I thought about adoption I was in my late 40's and still suffering every day. For one reason or another a child was not in the cards for us.

Then out of the blue.. I decided to adopt a 70 year old man with Cerebral Palsy. Funny Story that!

I will forever love Roberta my wife. (who calls me Husband)

I love Michael as a brother.. having spent many of my kid years playing cards with him or getting into BIG TROUBLE that amazingly we got out of. (The word Miracle comes to mind) In other ways the same goes for my long time business partner Frank.

Frank will leave Las Vegas in a couple of years. Roberta and I will do the same. I like New Mexico.. She still isn't sold on the idea yet.

My life's path has always been strange. I have no idea where I will end up. If my AS will get fixed? Or if I will ever be able to grow a dinner salad Hydroponically.

Remember to always keep "Love" in your hearts!
