I would like to make a request to other FAG members to please when making a memorial, go ahead and request the photo of the headstone. This would make it so much more easier on those searching their families instead of someone else requesting it upon finding the memorial. I run into this myself all the time. When I make a memorial I always request a photo at the same time.
Ancestors I am researching are: MASON (in Texas and New York, Massachusettes); GILLARD (Texas and England; GOFF of West Virginia and Texas; KEITH of Georgia, South Carolina, Arkansas; COGBILL of West Virginia and Arkansas, SHOUP of Pennsylvania, Mississippi and Arkansas; WALKER; GUNNELS; POUND; PARKER; PERKINS; LINDSEY; SANDERS; BUTRAM; THOMPSON; HOLMES; HOLCOMBE; HENLEY: KRAMER and GAUS so many others in which I have two separate trees on ancestry.com.

I started this venture after finding out about ancestry.com, through watching the show Who Do You Think You Are. I already knew about my aunt who started researching our family when she lived in Maryland close to DC back in the 60's and 70's and would go to the National Archives. My mother had a lot of her research materials and lots of old photos so I took everything to my house and started entering and downloading everything to ancestry.com. That was in 2009 when I discovered you could do genealogy online. Even though I do not manage that many memorials, I find myself sending edits daily and sometimes on interments in cemeteries I am searching for someone. I am a big contributor and Editor on FAG and I like trying to link families when I find them even if they are not related or in my tree. Every memorial I manage I am related to. I research everyday on ancestry.com, family search and FAG and other genealogy sites.
A big thank you to all the volunteers who take the time to search cemeteries for all photo requests.
Please do not transfer memorials to me unless I specifically ask for them.
