I have been interested in genealogy since I was 11 years old (1976) when my Dad took me on a search to find the burial location of one of our Revolutionary War ancestors. I am a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Most of my family roots were in Ohio by the early to mid 1800's. I also enjoy researching my wife's family now who primarily came from TN, NC, AR, MO and VA as well as Germany. Family names include: Johnston, Crooks, Canter, Chamberlain, Pierce, Timberman, Yerian, Henry, Perryman, Shrable, Lucas, Bucher, Bertelsmeir, Nickel, Lautherback, Smith, Allison, Wolfe, Vernon, Bussey, Carpenter, Tyhurst, Francis, Liesberg, Bloomberg, Chilcote, Clinkingbeard, Haskins, Ware, Glassburn, Boylan, and many more.

I have several projects. I am documenting all of the Revolutionary War Patriots buried in Williamson County, TN (about 200) I am documenting all of the men that served in the 51st Ohio Volunteer Infantry (1,781 +/-). I am also documenting all of the men that have served as Grand Consul (International President) of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and members of the Sigma Chi Fraternity that served in the Civil War (both Union and Confederate).
