Bio

I only recently joined Find-A-Grave but began my genealogy research in 1995. I began in the pursuit of some "family tales and legends" which I had always assumed were "exaggerated stories" -- somewhat like the "big-fish-that-got-away" stories my father would tell after one of his fishing expeditions. I have been amazed to find that these "tales and legends" are, in fact, significant historical facts beyond my wildest imagination.
As I found data during my research, I began to explore branch marriages which has guided me to most of the early settlers in the Hochheim/Concrete area of DeWitt County as well as many others in southern Texas. I am always willing to share this data and my sources with others.
