Although my family heritage comes from all over America...and earlier from England, Scotland, Ireland, Isle of Mann and Holland, most of my direct branch settled in Oklahoma. I retired from teaching English and Journalism at the high school level after almost 40 years. My father's parents were CARSON and STOOPS; my mother's parents were SEIGLER and HOVIS.
I am a grandmother to a 3 year old grandson, mother to grown up twins, wife, and we have two labradoodles that have more energy than I do. Now that I am retired, I actually have extra time to work on my genealogy and other projects that fascinate me.
