My name is Lori LaRee Orr Thomas. I grew up in Orton, Alberta, Canada on a farm. My passion for family history was something instilled in me when I was 11 years old from my grandmother, Viola Roberts Orr. As a child she would rehearse to me details about the ancestors she knew, and show me thru photographs of what they looked like. I get great satisfaction at this point in my life carrying on that legacy and discovering new details and facts about our family; who they were and how they lived. It's as important for me to tell my grandchildren about those people long gone now that I knew, as it was for my grandmother to tell me.
