Find a Grave ID

Bio

I've very interested in the Civil War and I try to photograph every Civil War soldier's graves that I come across. I had relatives on both sides of that conflict. I also try to photograph temporary markers, so there is a record of person's grave. We have been so disappointed to find our family's graves unmarked. We live in Southern NJ near Philadelphia. I'm interested in the Baumbach, Diehl and Siemers families, the Nutt family of Vineland, NJ, the Lukemires/ Mires family and the Stockbridge family. Any help with these families is appreciated.
I recently found out about the Lafayette and Monument cemeteries. Monument cemetery was bought by Temple University to make way for a parking lot. The bodies were moved to Lawnview cemetery in Rockledge PA, but the grave stones were dumped in river to make the foundation for the Betsy Ross Bridge. Lafayette cemetery was located across from Pat's and Geno's Steaks in South Philly and is now a playground. The bodies from there were supposed to be moved and have grave markers but were dumped a mass grave in Bucks County. Here is an article about that http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~buckscounty/cemeteries/Bensalem/lafayette_cemetery.htm
I am horrified by the actions of Temple University and that the City of Philadelphia let these things happen. I feel badly for the families of these people.
