Hi, I'm Karen. I live in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. I stumbled upon this website while reading about Leonardo da Vinci and clicking on a link to his grave information. Sadly, I have lost a lot of friends and family, especially in the last few years. Most recently I lost my beloved mother-in-law, Judy. My daughter's preschool BFF, Mandy, passed away over a decade ago, so I searched for and found her memorial, which was very exciting. I think it's wonderful how you can find the memorial of someone you love or admire and leave notes and offerings. Doing so has undoubtedly helped many people heal and remember those they have lost. In addition, this website serves as an important historical and architectural record, as well as a valuable educational tool for students, genealogists, and others. I'm happy to be a Find A Grave volunteer, whenever I have the time. If I can't locate some friends and family on here, then I'll make a note to take and post a picture of their memorial when I can. Thanks so much. Take care of yourselves. ~Karen
