Bio

I was born in Akron, Ohio, into a family that had lived in Greenbrier County, West Virginia since before it was a county and while it was still Virginia in the late 1700's and only moved to Ohio in the 1940's.

The Williams' were heavily interrelated to the Beards, Walkups, and Hannas and also intermarried with Parkins, Westlakes, Eagles, McClintics, Osborns and many more.

My mother's side of the family were Hanks, Garretts, Wests, Johnsons, mostly from Missouri and Arkansas, but farther back from Tennessee, Illinois, North Carolina and Virginia.

My sister, Nancy, got me hooked on genealogy and finding Find A Grave has really enhanced Ancestry.com as a primary tool.

I'm retired military so I particularly prize finding ancestors and relatives who also served.

I am currently a senior Agile PLM consultant looking for work and live with my wonderful wife and children in Huntsville, Alabama.

I will gladly help out anyone in the Find A Grave community in any way possible because of all of the wonderful folks who have helped me.

You are welcome to use any of my photos for any purpose as long as you give proper credit. I only put up photos in the low res format prescribed by Find A Grave, but they are reduced from high res photos. If you need the high res version for your genealogical application, poster, document, etc., please ask me by private email.
