Bio

As a native Bostonian, I grew up viewing the graves of Revolutionary War heroes and developed an appreciation for the history one can learn from walking through a cemetery and reading the memorials.

Now, situated in California's Central Coast, the graves that attract me are those of the western pioneers, who came here by wagon train to settle a new land, plant new roots (figurative and literal), and build new cities.

My brother (see "friends" links), Steve, is the photographer/writer/curator of Beneath Los Angeles - www.beneathlosangeles.com - and the author of "LA's Graveside Companion: Where the VIPs RIP."
