Bio
I live in Spokane, WA, I have been researching the Severson-Cottrell-Shaver-Greenman-Newton and many other family names for close to 40 years. About 10 years ago, I found my Latter Day Saint connection with the Clawson family. My 3rd Gr. Grandparents were Moses and Cornelia Brown-Clawson. So now I'm researching that branch of my father's family too. I got involved in doing genealogy because my grandmother, Nettie Cottrell-Severson,had so much information written down everywhere, it was hard to sort out. She had numerous note books, and all kinds of family papers.Maybe one day I'll publish our work.
I work this hobby into my busy life, as I am a grandmother of 6. We have twinning in this family and at this time have 3 sets of twins in the Severson family as my brother and I both have a set of twin granddaughters.. I am a quilter and a member of a United Methodist Church in Spokane, WA. I have been married for 46 years this summer (1970). I have a M.S. degree in Biology and I keep tabs on plants on our 40 acres of fir and pine timber land in Lincoln County, WA.
