The desire to document family history has been my life passion. I began this effort at a young age by asking her grandparents questions and making hand written notes of their answers. With the advent of technology I began to conduct audio and then video interviews with elder family members. The genealogist in me led me to document family history via census reports, ship manifests and vital records. I have also written a series of news letters titled "Family Ties" where I shares family stories, trees, photos and recipes. After 22 years of employment by a consulting engineering firm I am now "retired" and able to start my true life work to "Capture the past to give to the future".
