Bio

I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. I enjoy History, Botany, Bluegrass Music, practically all the sciences, and reading.

I moved to Wilmington, NC in March 2009.

I enjoy Family History in particular.

Surnames on my Father's side of Family History:

Funderburk, Carnes, Clifton, Bennett, Rowell, Sistare, Plyler, McManus, Arant, Lathan, Booty, Dowden, Laney, Bickett, Duke, Shute, Alexander, Beckham, Kluttz, Long, Belk, Hilton, Bailey, Cook, Sanders, O'Barr, Cauthen, Quinn, Nunn, Wright, and Vickery.

Surnames on my Mother's Side:

Long, Polk, Cuthbertson, Misenheimer, Kluttz, Green, Orr, Griffin, Belk, Taylor, Walter, Gaddy, Castle, Funderburk (as well), Carnes, Plyler, Rowell, Austin, Ross, Lathan, Bickett, Brown, Rendleman, Shute, Alexander, McCrary, Easter, Holshouser, Isenhour, Lentz, Hartsell, Younger, Brown, Rushing, Wright, Cook.

As you may have guessed, there has been a lot of intermarriage between the two families. Both my mother and father's family didn't move around much, so it was inevitable that intermarriage took place with a high degree between the two, although with different branches.
