Bio

I am the genealogist for my family and my husband's family. On my side I primarily research the Silzer family and the German ancestry families from Bukovina, which is now part of Romania. I also research my Swedish Ancestry comprising primarily of the names, Forssell from the Lake Vanern area and Karlstad and Molin or Moline from the Sundsvall area. On my husband's side I research primarily Porak, Pelnar, Hlawacek or Hlavacek, Janda and Felix. All these families are of Bohemian descent. The Poraks originally settled in Iowa and then moved to Chicago, Illinois. The Pelnars and Hlawacek/Hlavaceks originally settled in Carlton Twp., Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. The Janda and Felix lines originally settled in Chicago, Illinois. When adding links I also try to include the family generational links.
