Lost in one of those winding road cemeteries, searching to visit my parents gravesite, I stopped to reconnoiter and found myself next to a headstone with my mother's maiden name. It's an unusual name so I figured they must be related in some way. The search to find the connection was great fun. Turned out to be my great grandparents. Learning more about them has turned into a quite a hobby. My special family interests are O'Briens of Monmouth County, NJ, and the Purple family. That's right, Purple.
