Find a Grave ID

Bio

First, I am "retired" from the 9-5 (or 7 to 7, as it were). My wife retired and has her own ID on FAG. Both of us enjoy trying to find and photograph grave markers for those who request them.

I was born in East Tennessee. My principle English roots are in Western NC and East TN (Greene, Washington, and the part of Washington County that became Unicoi). The German roots are in eastern Pennsylvania then on to Greene County and that part of Greene County that became Cocke Co. Family roots include Jones, Gilbert, Ottinger, Rader, Cline, Buckner, Neas, Nease, Ottinger, and Winter(s).

When I discovered Find A Grave and realized the importance of the site to so many families who cannot get to an area of the country where their relatives are buried, I wanted to join the effort to help. Personally, I now realize how a simple picture or two can be worth so much. I will do my part but will never be able to match some of the incredible work done by so many volunteers at this site. If I post a photo or information about an individual that someone's family does not want posted, I will be happy to pull it off and assure that no disrespect was intended.

P.S. For some reason FAG has me as a member for less years than reality. In reality, I started doing this about in the early 2000's not 2008.
