I've beeen researching the Bratton name in Juniata Co., PA for over 50 years and accidently discovered a branch in the Carlisle (Cumberland Co., PA) area and have been pursuing this for several years, seeking a connection of the two groups.

I retired in 2000 from a northern VA county government and returned to my native PA after living in the Washington, D. C. area for more than fifty years. I currently live in the Lewisberry (northern York Co., PA) area and continue my research at the Juniata Co. Historical Society in Mifflintown and at the Cumberland Co. Historical Society's Hamilton Library in Carlisle, PA.
