I was born in Cumberland, MD, grew up in Colorado Springs, CO, and am now back in Colorado Springs after living in VA, MD, CA, NY, NM, WV, and WA. I am the proud mother of three sons: Stephen, Jack, and Luc [aka Mac. I have been a teacher and a travel agency manager, am now focusing on research and writing.
