I started my family history hobby as an assignment in my 6th grade history class. It has been fun sharing it with past & present family members. I have had interviews with elder family members, traveled to family origins in the U.S., and now host 3 family websites. It is an educational hobby that I now share with my younger sister.
We have been on family history gathering trips to Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington state & Oregon. The next generation is also getting involved since we brought 2 of her sons with us on our trips. The boys definitely know their way around a cemetery now.
