Wilson B. Brown was born in NJ in 1938, attended schools in Livingston and Caldwell, and holds a BA from Brown University and PhD from Tufts. He taught economics and business at Colby College, Northern Illinois U. and the University of Winnipeg, and is now retired and living in Denver, CO. He has traced much of his family tree including Brown (back to John of Newark), Ashby, Spencer-Genung, and later immigrants to Newark including Ham, Wiedmann, and Donald. He has extensive records on the Brown and Ashby lines.
