The picture is my mother, Hilda Lorraine (Melton) Harris taken about 1948. Been researching my family lines for twenty years. Specifically, HARRIS from Mifflin Co., PA to Tuscarawas Co., OH to Owen and Clay Cos. in Indiana. MELTON from Bedford Co., VA to Wayne Co., KY (other known children went to Anderson Co., TN, Cole Co., Missouri, Lincoln Co., KY) to Lawrence Co., Indiana then my great-grandfather brought his family to Parke Co., Indiana where I currently live. HAIN from Perry Co., PA to Marion Co., OH to Clay Co., Indiana. WOOD ( a huge brick wall and totally unbreakable at this point) from VA or West Virginia according to census records of his children to possibly Ohio then to Parke and Vigo Cos. in Indiana.
