I finally find this cemetery
and headstone where you sleep;
my eyes now fill with tears of grief
my love for you so deep.
I should have talked of family
with visits much more often;
for now these things are lost to me
as you rest there in your coffin.
I remember most your smile
and hugs you always wanted;
but of your life and family
those memories I am haunted.
I post the things I have of you
a picture, story or comment;
hoping someone has a piece for me
so finally I can be content.
I find less each day you left behind
and my heart has grown much sadder;
my hopes of learning more of you
is now a heavenly matter...
