Rick was born in Queens, Jackson Heights, New York on March 17th, 1944, and raised on Cape Cod in Sagamore, Sandwich, Forrestdale and later from age ten, in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts.

Rick enlisted in the United States Marines in 1961 and after boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina, he served his country at Camp Le Jeune, North Carolina, in the Mediterranean, the Cuban Crisis of 1962 during the Kennedy Administration.

He travelled to the Far East, Okinawa, the Philippines, South Korea, Japan and all over South East Asia before returning to the United States in early 1965 to Camp Pendleton, California, where he was an NCO in tank battalion and later at Camp Del Mar, Honorably Discharged in February 1966 after an extension via IAW 10 US Code, due to Vietnam.

Rick has fathered 5 wonderful blessings, his two eldest, Phil and Heidi, are with the Lord Jesus in Heaven. Andy (1977), Nick (1978) and Natalie (1983) are still serving the Lord Jesus on Earth. He also has 3 Grandchildren Zayn (2015), Elliot (2017) and Olivia (2020).

Rick's an ordained and certified minister with the Spirit of Prophecy Ministries, ~ A Christian Pastor 2 U ~ and lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with the love of his life, wife Deanna Dee Merry-Hall, married in bliss since December 18, 2000.
