Born in Athens, TX on January 20, 1950 to Walter Whit and Bonnie Mae Bowman Daniel. Attended Athens Public Schools, Henderson Co. Jr. College (now Trinity Valley Comm. College) in Athens and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX with a degree in Political Science and History. Worked 35 years and nine months at Trinity Valley Electric Cooperative, Inc. and retired in January 2013. Served in several elected offices including Mayor of Athens from 2005-2012. I was appointed by the County Commissioner's Court to a Justice of the Peace position on December 14, 2012. Married to wife Barbara for 34 years. One daughter Lori Daniel Sanders and husband Guy and granddaughter Sloane.
