Bio

My name is Darlene Harrison, I am the mother of 6 beautiful kids. I am married to a wonderful man. I work in retail and spend my spare time with my family. I do have my hands full, but all in all I can't complain. Losing my father on October 7, 2007 was the hardest thing I've ever dealt with, some days it still doesn't seem real. Life is definately not the same without him. I am so much like my dad it's like a piece of me is gone some days. He's in a better place I know and not suffering anymore but man it's hard here without him. I have one brother, Charley Jr, one sister, Melissa and another brother, Austin who passed away when he was just six months old. My mother, Nina is doing as good as can be expected, she's a trooper. She took care of my dad for years, i keep trying to get her to move in with me and my family but she's to independent. (six kids! what a invitation!) Not a day goes by that I don't think of my dad, think of some memory, a song, a picture, countless things just trigger it. When I was younger I could never get anything over on him, and I do mean anything! I miss him so much, some days I can't stand it. I know my dad would not have wanted me to get so down and depressed though, so I go along my merry way and know that someday I will see him again!!
