Son of Elmer Eugene Bauhahn. Younger brother of Paul Bauhahn. Born in Lansing, Michigan, grew up largely in Grand Rapids, Michigan (but also in Greenville, South Carolina, and Three Hills, Alberta, Canada). University education in Michigan State University, Grand Valley State College/University, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Served in Vietnam with U.S. Army as a draftee and stayed on after the evacuation of Saigon. Subsequently worked in civilian roles in Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia for a total of 24 years. Met my British wife, Sue, in Phnom Penh. We have two children, Grace and Daniel, and for past 9 years have lived near Maidenhead, U.K. (2008). Presently working for Oracle.
