I started researching my own family history In 2005 after my parents passed away and I found the Find a Grave website to be very helpful in my search. I began photographing and transcribing the old cemetery where I lived in Yuma AZ. The cemetery is in poor condition due to the fact that the graves are resting on shifting sand. The harsh weather and decay have made the Yuma Cemetery less than peaceful. It has been very rewarding for me personally to contribute to Find a Grave.
