I live in the North Eastern states but proudly claim Southern Mississippi roots. I have met cousins that I never knew I had as well as a host of wonderful people all in search of our family connections. My grandmother's favorite chore was to walk the woods to round up her cows.I am a beekeeper and was pleased to learn that my great-grandmother also had bees at one time. She was a wonderful woman that was strong enough to raise 11 children on her own. I love to quilt, garden and can/preserve foods. I love animals and have 2 goats. I like to believe it is because of my connection to my mother and these other amazing women. This site is in honor of them and their influence in my life.
