After living in UT and CA for almost 10 years, I am back in AZ where I was raised. My mother's family (STAPLEY's) are long time Mesa, AZ residents. My father's family (STOFFEL's) lived in Kansas, but the STOFFEL ancestors originated in Luxembourg. Some of the other relatives of the STOFFELs include HUNT, WALTER, LOHN, HERMANN, KLEIN, DIDERICH, THEISEN.

My father has been a genealogy researcher for years. My interest was sparked in 2007 when my brother passed away and I realized how little I knew about him. It made me realize how important it is to learn people's stories while they are alive and that led to the research of ancestors.

I have also began to assist my husband's family in the research of their ancestors including the following surnames: BENNEY, BOTTS, BLOCK, DOBSON, EYTCHESON, WALKER, BUSCOMBE, and MOHR.
