I am a native Floridian. I was born in Dixie County to William Sherwood Lovelace and Velma Ethel (Green) Lovelace. I married James Charles Ragsdale, from South Carolina. We have three sons, two of which have retired from the military.

I have now retired and find myself so busy that I can almost meet myself on the road. I have always been interested in our ancestors, but only recently have made it a priority in my life.
