I have lived in Abilene, Texas all my life. My husband and I have been researching our ancestral families since the late 1960s. Travels have taken us to several southern states, mainly South Carolina and Mississippi, and also to Pennsylvania and Ohio where my husband's paternal lines lived. My family history goes back to Virginia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi and Texas. Major surnames are Daniel (my surname),Robbins, Burnett, Stuckey, Cox, Flanagan, Hearrald (Harrall/Harrald). My husband's major ancestors are Boggs, Lopeman (both Pennsylvania and Ohio), Horton and Williamson (North Carolina, Alabama and Texas).
