I volunteer at Riverside Cemetery. The cemetery is about 100 Acres.
We search for graves that are buried under the earth and unearth them. The stones have been buried for 10-100 years. We all so unearth partial buried stones and try to obtain any information from a stone that has been covered by the earth. We have many stones that just have a first name or just a last name. We do a genealogy search thru variety of records to figure out who that person is.
The persons that I have submitted I'm not related to, but I have taken extra care to make sure that their gravestone is now known.
