I presently live in the Lansing, Mi. area , but, was born in "old" Hogsett, WV. I graduated Point Pleasant High School in 1955. My parents were Edwin and Virginia Aten, both of whom are buried at Beale Chapel Cemetery..Apple Grove, WV. My Grandmother was Edna Withers daughter of E.L and Mary Hereford Withers. This was on my father's side of the family. On my mother's side, I am the grand daughter of Olive Buskirk Tavan and Joseph T. Tavan.
