I am passionate about cemetery preservation, and love history about families, communities, our state, buildings, churches and everything in between. Not only do I get to conduct research on my own, I also work around it everyday as the resident historian & genealogy research chair for our local archives dept. in our library. I enjoy researching for others, networking with them, to help solve their family puzzles. I write a weekly column about historic cemeteries in the region, as well as edit and publish info for our Canebrake Genealogical & Historical Society, a mostly web-based organization I established several years ago to network with folks who had roots in the SE.
