My interest in here is mainly for historical reasons. I have a lot of ancestors laying in Cork Cemetary, Edmonton, Ky.

A member in FAG had showed some images of some headstones of those in that cemetary that showed weed growth that disturbed me. I just had to do something about it. So while on vacation this year (2007) a couple of my brothers and our wives dove into the weedpatch and started cleaning.

After the work was done we had decided on a caretaker for the site. My brother David Acree and his wife volunteered for the task. I, myself, have made a personal commitment to making sure this site stays clean from now on.

Many of the headstones and markers are in bad need of repair. I will post all of the names as best recorded on here. If anyone has family members in this site and would like to donate anything at all please contact me at [email protected] .
