I've been researching my McDonald/Campbell ancestors, and my Haenke/Johnson ancestors in my family, as well as my husband's French/Swiss ancestors for more than 16 years. Having been a school librarian and a history major, the study of my family's genealogy became a natural fit for my interests once I retired from teaching.
