My Legal Indian last name is Stronghold

The photo is from my college graduation MANY years ago.

Born in Abilene, Texas...raised in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale, Arizona, graduated Texas Southmost College/University of Texas Pan American in Brownsville, Texas, raised kids in Lubbock, Lubbock, County, Texas, and have part time residences in The Villages, Florida, Tallahassee FL, Happy Valley, OR , Las Vegas, NV and 11,000 feet up on a Colorado mountain.

I graduated from Texas Southmost College then The University of Texas Pan American Brownsville with several degrees, main one was Criminal Justice. (Magna Cum Laude all degrees) My first street patrol service was with the Cameron County Sheriff Dept during and after college.

I have two adult children. Both very creative. My son has been all over the world. He is a mega talented musician but also is currently working on writing comic books. Im not real sure what that is about.

My daughter has only been to Europe (twice) She was the webmaster of a Motley Crew band members wife. She was a celebrity makeup artist and was in American Idol way back in the beginning. Great singer and musician.

As for MY talents, I have none :(

I just do genealogy and oil painting and not very good at either.

My Claxton's are from the Soloman, Wilson aka Willis aka Wilson
William C. aka Bill, William Eldridge aka Will, Odis Archie Sr, Odis Archie Jr lines

Odis Claxton Jr did the Claxton Y DNA for me. He has provided many many priceless genealogy photos.

My Hughes are from Tennessee--then Texas.
Orlando and Leander Hughes lines . My Grandfather was Willie Wood aka Bill Hughes of Pampa, Grey County, Texas.

My Uncle Billie Pete Hughes, son of Frankie Lee Graves and Willie Wood Hughes did the Hughes Y-DNA testing for me.

My Graves, Greaves, Wood, Baker and Williams sides were from San Saba, Junction, Coleman, Kermit Texas areas mostly.

My Bradfords were from Tennessee and Texas. My Great Grandparents, Bennie H ( Ben ) and Esther Barney MILLER Bradford were from Knox City, Texas.

Aunt Evelyn BRADFORD Balis did the maternal Bradford-Miller female to female mtDNA testing for me.

My Green's are from Tennessee then (Dallas area)Texas. Jim, Myrtle, and Alfred B Green are my main researching interests right now.

I most recently (late 2022) am researching my Graves and Greaves lines.

I got a brain injury in 2003 then was reinjured in 2022 which has made doing genealogy very hard for me. I still try to make memorials to my family and very special other people. Please advise if I made any mistakes. My communication skills are not the best because of it. I am sorry.
