Genealogy is my passion and I have doing Adair County research for over 30 plus years and have been doing my husbands family for about 20 years. His family is from Owsley Co., KY.

I have lots of information on many surnames from Adair County and worked on a Breeding Community Reunion for several years. Not sure that they have continued the reunion since I stepped back turning it over to the Breeding Vol Fire Dept.

I also compiled several books full of photos of the people of the Breeding Community and some of surrounding communities of Adair as well. Thanks to donations from many for these books. None of these books are available but I donated a copy of each for use and they are in the Adair County Library located in Columbia, Adair Co., KY.
