Thanks to everyone that leaves flowers for my loved ones. I am a senior health science major with a concentration in microbiology at East Tennessee State University. I am in the Ronald McNair program and I work in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry research lab at James H. Quillen College of Medicine. I am currently researching the damaging effects of the sun's three ultraviolet radiations and the anti-mutagenic effect of antioxidants found in dark-colored fruits and vegetables. I will be graduating spring of 2007 and will soon be applying to graduate school where I plan to study immunology.
