I was born in Baltimore, MD, and have lived here all my life. I now live just outside Baltimore in Ellicott City, MD. I retired from the railroad after 30 years and taught English for 15 years before retiring fully in 2001. I have been doing genealogical research off and on for over 35 years. My heritage is from Alabama, both parents being born there, my mother in Elba and my father in Enterprise, both in Coffee County.
