Bio

I was born in Sydney,Australia. After many years of wanting to visit the United States I finally got there in 2003.I desperately wanted to find my uncle who is layed to rest there but no one seemed to know where!I did finally find him,& spent time with him on a very special day-September 11.With this site he will never be lost again!I just want to thank everyone who has left a message for my uncle Frank Brancatisano. He was a POW & was killed in Manila,Philippines in 1944.His parents migrated from Italy & he was born in the USA.The family returned to Italy but a few years later my uncle wanted to go back to his true home.He returned to the US & enlisted in the army.Only one relative has visited his grave & that was about 30 years ago.I made it my mission to find him & it took a long time to track him down but I did find him with the fantastic help from the U.S Dept of Veteran Affairs & I booked my ticket from Sydney to New York.I was with him on September 11 2003.My father was so emotional when I told him I found him & treasures the photos & video I bought back from New York.Again,I thank everyone who has visited him on this site,& I make sure I leave a message for their loved ones.I apologise to those people who have many loved ones.I cant visit them all,but I make sure that I leave flowers for a few.God bless you all.
