I worked at my church as a groundskeeper for a long time. I really enjoy the cemeteries doing this- the beauty, peacefulness, serenity, creativity of the memorials, the names and inscriptions. I like thinking that I may be helping to preserve some of these sometimes very faint markings, as little pieces of history.
