Bio

Have been searching of 10+ years for all my relatives. It wasn't until my the birth of my daughter, that finding "all the pieces" seemed so important to me. During my searching, I learned that my paternal grandfather (whom I never met - because he past 3 months after I was born), actually was married in 1918 to a Helen or Helena A. Schafer from Hornell City, NY. When the information came to light, I found out that something was said on his death bed about the 1st marriage, and possibly a child (daughter??). But that was it. Nothing more was discussed about it. So as you can see I am still to this day, trying to find the pieces. Also, looking for my paternal grandfather's little brother. He was born 1911, Walter Francis Lauber, and then according to family rumors, ran away. When I have no idea. His mom died in 1918 and his dad ending up in the Erie County Home in Alden, NY 1929. Looking for info on Lauber, Parkers, Yung, Fravel, Schafer, Ebeling - Ebling. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. If anything sounds familiar, please contact.
Thanks
