Bio

Atlanta, Georgia native celebrating the achievements of the contributions of known and unknown individuals. Specifically, African Americans' immense contributions they have made to our society and culture. Also, my own wonderful lineage. Many of these known and unknown individuals broke barriers in the political, educational, and entertainment arenas, as well as built up their communities, and achieved beyond what others deemed impossible. All saluted, from the famous to the obscure, deserve our gratitude, for their lives clearly demonstrate in some way-through perseverance, fortitude, and hard work that people can overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles to fulfill their dreams and share their gifts with the world. Over the recent years, I have learned and made some exciting discoveries about my ancestors.

Find A Grave provides all of us with a wonderful way to remember loved ones, ones we only admired from afar. It also provides an opportunity to learn about some of these individuals behind the struggles and triumphs that have helped shape the world in which we live. My hope is that more people will become more aware of the contributions that many of these individuals have made.

I am thankful to have met several wonderful people on this site. I want to thank everyone who has left tokens and kind words of remembrance for my memorials, especially my loved ones. Also, a special thank you to those who have sponsored memorials of my deceased relatives. God bless!

"I've only just a minute,
Only sixty seconds in it.
Forced upon me, can't refuse it,
Didn't seek it, didn't choose it,
But it's up to me to use it.
I must suffer if I lose it,
Give an account if I abuse it,
Just a tiny little minute,
But eternity is in it."

-Dr. Benjamin E. Mays

"I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again."

-Stephen Grellet

"What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal."

-Albert Pike

"No matter how big your house is, how recent your car is, or how big your bank account is. Our graves will always be the same size. Stay humble."
